Description
During the time I was making these images I listened to music in order to lighten the gloom and depression.
I found Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time when I was listening to BBC Radio 3.
He wrote it for the available instruments when he was a prisoner of war.
An odd combination of clarinet, violin, cello, and piano.
I found it beautiful but also appropriate. I played it almost every day.
