Description
I saw the accommodation huts that were still standing at Auschwitz 2.
The huts had been built by Jewish prisoners and some prisoners of war plus German and Polish convicts.
The sleeping arrangements were three tiers high with a narrow walkway between the sections of tiers.
Normally eight and ten men shared each section in each tier.
The etching is my imagined view of the interior of these hellish huts.
